A NEW COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY
DEDICATED TO

THE INTERNET

OF THINGS

CONTEXT

femme-tel.png

The Internet of Things is a rapidly growing market, with a predicted value of $1100 billion by 2021 and +12.5% /year on average growth. The appearance of new applications and requirements (especially reliable bidirectional communication) raises the question of using the ISM band rather than the new 4G and 5G technologies.

The current challenge while using the ISM band is to provide access to a radio communication technology that allows firmware updating, transmitting security patches and maintenance data at low power over a wide area.

TECHNOLOGY

Technology

The Time Synchronous Averaging technique is used innovatively to improve the receiver sensitivity by increasing the signal energy without changing its power.

A better sensitivity consequently improves the communication range. This innovation is protected by two patents.
This technology is compatible with the existing modulation techniques used by Sigfox or LoRa. It can be also used by RF circuits suppliers and those who use cellular technologies like 4G, NBIoT or 5G.

Advantages

Enhanced IoT allows IoT service providers a greater choice of frequency bands by increasing the sensitivity of the RF receiver. Particularly, frequency bands that authorize longer emission time with lower power. As a result, Enhanced-IoT provides bi-directional communication services.
The results obtained from prototypes present a gain of between 6 and

13 dB, equivalent to increasing the communication distance in free space by a factor of between 2 or even 4 times.

Applications

Enhanced-IoT is a strong alternative to current cellular networks for sending and receiving data with low power over long distances, especially in isolated areas with no network coverage.
Our technology is best fitted for those applications which require a secure and reliable communication link, particularly when transmitter should be informed about data reception. Enhanced-IoT offers an alternative solution for those applications which require

bi-directional communication, such as firmware and security updates, remote control/ command and

tele-maintenance.

Enhanced-IoT is the winner of the national innovation competition,

i-PhD, in 2019.
This competition, promoting breakthrough innovation, supported by the government and BPI France via the DeepTech plan aims to enhance french national research and support the entrepreneurship of young researchers.

TARGET MARKET

Industial IoT
IoT has many innovative use cases in the industry.
Industrial Internet of Things, also known as IIoT could be used in multiple industrial areas such as construction, manufacturing, mining, energy production and supply.
Predictive maintenance, smart factories, driverless cars, trucks and ships are only a few industrial uses of internet of things. With our bidirectional RF communication technology, we enable limitless teleoperation and monitoring of the industrial units. You can also transmit updates and security patches with our network thanks to the unlimited number of uplink and downlink messages.

IoT in the isolated area
Enhanced-IoT is a strong alternative for sending and receiving data with low power over long distances, especially in isolated areas with no network coverage. Our technology is best fitted for those applications which require a secure and reliable communication link over long distances.

With our bidirectional RF communication technology, we enable limitless teleoperation and monitoring.
Our private network guarantees the security of your data as well. You can also transmit updates and security patches with our network thanks to the unlimited number of uplink and downlink messages.

Clean IoT
Clean IoT generally refers to usages of IoT in clean technologies such as renewable energies which could revolutionize the future of our planet and contribute to a cleaner planet benefited by many generations to come.
With our bidirectional RF communication technology, we enable limitless teleoperation and monitoring.
You can transmit updates and security patches with our network thanks to the unlimited number of uplink and downlink messages.
